Challenges
Event directors face constant chaos managing live events—miscommunication between teams, last-minute changes derailing fixed plans, and VIP needs getting lost in the shuffle. Current event management tools fall short when it comes to coordinating teams on the ground, leaving directors juggling too many moving parts without clear visibility into who's doing what, when, and where.
Goal
Design an intuitive event management tool that brings clarity to the chaos. The solution should streamline real-time communication, make micro-managing multiple tasks effortless, and translate complex event workflows into clear, actionable steps—all through a minimalistic interface that works seamlessly across devices, from laptops to tablets to phones in the field.
Why am I making this app?
It could be a new structure of workline for event organizing as the forms of events are evolving way beyond physical precense and techonological advancements around us.

Competitive Market Analysis
Honey Book and Clear Event were the top 2 that catered to the needs of in-person event app but was missing a lot of the details on assiting, tracking, and noting what minor systems happen around the event or with external people out of the app. Price point of the apps were the other concern of competition.
Key points
The more organized a system is on adhering to every needs of the team. The better the event execution will be. Communicating in a platform that helps align every list into a checklist of accomplishments is what teamwork is all about. Spotlight helps to craft that idea into an experience.

Jessica, 33
Campaign Manager, Los angeles, CA.
Her Scenario ; She is planning to host an event in person in pasadena. She is working with a beauty brand that wants to oversee how the event turns out. So she is currently building a rundown both for all vendors and her team to tackle the flow of people attending it.
At the same time, Jessica is also dealing with another deal on a campaign out of town which doesn’t allow her to monitor other progress besides looking at pictures and videos which she hoped to see it someway, somehow.

Branding
Spotlight was named because of its purpose, giving the space and authority to craft ideas to experience.
The color palette runs from the idea of vibrancy that the orange will stand out from the other colors I would typically see in events.
The typography is built on Sans Serif due to the idea that the app is flexible for formal use and personal use.
The mood board derives from the diverse stages of event building, making up the majority of responsibility that each people will have. Uniting to create a event flow, circulating the concept of palette that gathers everything in one glance.
